  • Habit : A tall erect or diffuse, appressed-hairy annuals.
  • Leaves : Elliptic-oblong, obovate-oblong or linear, appressed-hairy, sessile or nearly so.
  • Flowers : Pink to pale-violet in Axillary or extra-axillary condensed racemes.
  • Fruit :
    • Capsule oblong, emarginated, hairy, ciliate on margins.
    • Seeds densely pilose, strophiole obscurely 3-lobed, with a few hairs.
  • Flowering and Fruiting Time : Throughout the year.
  • Significance : Common as a weed.
