About Cordyline fruticosa Plant :

  • Habit : An evergreen, palm-like shrub with a strong and unbranched trunk.
  • Leaves :
    • Elliptic, ovate or lanceolate, copper-green with red shades, borne in clusters at the top of the stems.
    • It may also be marked with various combinations of purple, red, yellow or white.
  • Inflorescence : Panicles
  • Flower : Lilac-tinted.
  • Fruits : Berries, red in colour.
  • Significance : Grown as an ornamental plant.
