  • Habit : An unarmed big tree with white-grey bark.
  • Leaves :
    • Bipinnate, leaflets 60-100 pairs, small.
    • Two glands present at the base of the petiole.
  • Flowers :
    • Flowers in big globose or obovoid, green heads, peduncles long.
    • Calyx tubular, teeth 5, corolla tubular, stamens 10.
    • Ovary on a stalk.
  • Fruit : Pods large and strap-shaped.
  • Flowering and Fruiting Time : January - March
  • Significance : Occasionally grown in the gardens.
