  • Habit : A large shrub or small tree with greyish-brown, rough bark.
  • Leaves : Opposite, 1- 5 foliate, leaflets elliptic-oblong, wax coated on upper surface.
  • Inflorescence : Racemes.
  • Flowers :
    • Pink or white, calyx tubular, lobed.
    • Corolla limb irregularly lobed.
  • Flowering and Fruiting Time : March - May
  • Significance : Generally planted as an ornamental in gardens.
