About Indigofera cordifolia Plant :

  • Habit : A prostrate, radially spreading annual herb, more or less hairy when growing among dense grasses the stem may be erect.
  • Leaves : Simple, broadly ovate-cordate, sessile, hairy on both sides, more densely so beneath. Stipules many.
  • Flowers : Flowers in axillary heads. Calyx hairy outside, corolla bright red, about as long as the calyx.
  • Fruit : Pods cylindric, 2-seeded.
  • Flowering and Fruiting Time : August-November
  • Significance : Found wildly growing.
