  • Habit : Slenderor stout, erect or ascending, glabrous but for sometimes bearded nodes, tufted herbs.
  • Leaves : Very narrowly linear, tubercled, hairy finely acuminate.
  • Inflorescence : Racemes subdigitately fascicled. Spikelets 0.3-0.35 mm long.
  • Flowering and Fruiting Time : July-Dec
  • Significance : Throughout in damp places and along hedges.
