Habit :
A spreading shrub having white milky latex and uniformly spreading thin, pinkish branches.
Leaves :
Elliptic-lanceolate, petiolate, light green, usually opposite or in whorls of three or more.
Inflorescence :
Flowers are borne in umbels.
Flowers :
Inconspicuous, small, yellow but fragrant, bracteate, bractsobovate, creamy white.
Flowering and Fruiting Time :
November - January
Significance :
It is commonly grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and in pots.
