A pretty perennial twiner with slender stems.
Leaves :
Ovate, acute, base cordate.

Bright blue, bracteates, bracts linear, deciduous.
Calyx of unequal, 5 sepals with wavy margins.
Corolla blue, broadly funnel-shaped, with white plaites.
Stamens 5, unequal, anthers ovate.
Ovary 2-celled, style slender, stigmas 2, clavate.

Capsules, globose, with few seeds.
