Habit :
An evergreen or semi-evergreen shrub, scandent with numerous, thin, woody branches.
Leaves :
Glossy, leathery, elliptic-lance shaped, opposite, dark-green, glossy.
Flowers :
Snow white, pin wheel, star shaped flowers, multi-petaled, tubular and fragrant.
Corolla lobes 8-12.
Flowering and Fruiting time :
December - February
Significance :
Generally cultivated for its sweet smelling flowers.
Flowers are used to make venis and garlands.
