Habit :
An excellent vigorous, woody, evergreen, climbingshrubwith spreading branches and without tendrils.
Leaves :
Compound, deep glossy, green.
Flowers :
Very showy, large fragrant, lilac-pink coloured in large bunches.
Corolla trumpet-shaped.
Fruit :
Capsule, Long, narrow, straight, flattened with Brown, ovate, flat seeds inside a large rectangular papery wing.
Flowering and Fruiting Time :
December - March
Significance :
Generally cultivated in the gardens as an ornamental plant.
