  • Habit : A leafy annual herb.
  • Leaves : Aromatic, bipinnately lobed, round, serrated, large, thick leaves with attractive green colour.
  • Inflorescence : Capitulum (Head)
  • Flowers : Yellow coloured small heads of ray florets.
  • Flowering and Fruiting Time : July - September
  • Significance :
    • It is grown as an ornamental for the yellow or bi-coloured yellow and white flowers.
    • Alternatively the leaves are used as edible greens particularly in Asian dishes.
