Habit :
A leafy annual herb.
Leaves :
Aromatic, bipinnately lobed, round, serrated, large, thick leaves with attractive green colour.
Inflorescence :
Capitulum (Head)
Flowers :
Yellow coloured small heads of ray florets.
Flowering and Fruiting Time :
July - September
Significance :
It is grown as an ornamental for the yellow or bi-coloured yellow and white flowers.
Alternatively the leaves are used as edible greens particularly in Asian dishes.
