  • Habit : A small, erect or decumbent herb, densely clothed with dense white silky hairs.
  • Leaves : Small, elliptic or obovate, mucronate, hairy.
  • Inflorescence : Once forked scorpioid cymes.
  • Flowers :
    • White 2-4 inches long.
    • Calyx hairy, segments unequal, one very broad and larger than other 4, corolla tube cylindric, hairy outside, ovate-oblong.
    • Stamens 5, connective produced.
    • Ovary glabrous, style 0, stigma conical.
  • Fruits : Nutlets hairy.
  • Flowering and Fruiting Time : January-February
  • Significance : A common weed in wastelands.
