Ovate, narrowed or broad at base, sharply or nearly regularly toothed, beautifully coloured and variegated.
The variegations with different colours like yellow, orange, brown, purple, red, pink, green etc. may be in the form of blotches, stripes and spots or in a regular pattern.
There is marked variations in leaf size and colour among these plants.
