A tall erect or diffuse, appressed-hairy annuals.
Leaves :
Elliptic-oblong, obovate-oblong or linear, appressed-hairy, sessile or nearly so.
Flowers :
Pink to pale-violet in Axillary or extra-axillary condensed racemes.
Fruit :
Capsule oblong, emarginated, hairy, ciliate on margins.
Seeds densely pilose, strophiole obscurely 3-lobed, with a few hairs.
Flowering and Fruiting Time :
Throughout the year.
Significance :
Common as a weed.
