Leaves : Alternate, abaxially pubescent on entire leaf surface, phyllaries 7-13, petioles not expanded at base of leaves, sinuate to weakly lobed, sinus depth never approaching midrib.
Inflorescence : Capitulum (Head) - Golden yellow.
Flowers :
Ray florets 10-15, linear, oblong, golden yellow coloured.
Disk florets in the centre, bisexual, yellow of a darker shade.
Fruits : Achenes
Flowering and Fruiting Time : August - October
Significance : Generally grown as an ornamental plant.
