Habit :
A spreading perennial herb with rounded stems, rooting at the nodes.
Leaves :
Fleshy, hairy, serrated or irregularly toothed, dark-green above and lighter green below.
Flowers :
Bracteate, bracts chaffy, lanceolate, rigid.
Ray florets bright yellow to orange-yellow, daisy-like.
Fruits :
Tuberculate achenes with elongated brown seeds.
Flowering and Fruiting Time :
Almost throughout the year.
Significance :
It is generally grown as an ornamental plant.
