Habit :
Xerophytic rosette succulent with low water requirements.
Stem :
Reduced underground stem.
Leaves :
Dark green leaves, slightly bluish at their base.
The leaves are corrugated and folded towards the apex.
Their margins possess sharp pointed spines.
Inflorescence :
When the plant matures, branched (15 - 20) inflorescence rises to about 20 feet bearing flowers to attract pollinators.
Flowers :
Yellow in colourwhen buds.
Flowering and Fruiting time :
July - August
Significance :
It is mainly used for decoration purpose because of its ornamental foliage.
