About Pachypodium geayi Plant :
Habit :
A deciduous tree reaching up to a height of 4 m.
Stem :
A metallic grey pachypaule trunk (thick stems disproportionate to their length), covered with needles.
Leaves :
Thin, grey-green found at the top of the trunk (stem).
When the plant is grown in full sunlight the mid rib of the leaves becomes a handsome bright pink.
Flowers :
The flowers of mature plants are white with a yellow throat and sweet scented.
Significance :
It is an ornamental plant from Madagascar.
