Habit :
A small tree of quick growth, 2-20 m. high with spreading branches.
Leaves :
Paripinnate, leaflets 6-14 pairs, oblong, emarginated, mucronate.
Inflorescence :
Panicles of corymbose, racemes.
Flowers :
Yellow in colour. Calyx divided, petals 5, subequal, stamens 10, 3 sterile.
Fruit :
Pod flat, brown.
Flowering and Fruiting Time :
August - May
Significance :
Planted as a roadside tree.
