A large shrub or small tree with greyish-brown, rough bark.

Opposite, 1- 5 foliate, leaflets elliptic-oblong, wax coated on upper surface.

Racemes.
Flowers :
Pink or white, calyx tubular, lobed.
Corolla limb irregularly lobed.
Flowering and Fruiting Time :
March - May
Significance :
