Habit :

Leaves :
Crowded at the ends of branches.
Flowers :
Solitary or 2-3 fascicled, at the ends of short branches, white at length pale-yellow.
Fruit :
Ovoid or spherical, smooth, yellowish-brown.
Seeds numerous, compressed, glabrous, smooth.
Flowering and Fruiting Time :
April - October
Significance :
Fruit sold in markets are eatable, boiled or roasted.
The leaves are eaten by cattle.
